Chicago Kalakshetra proudly presents, Kalolsavam 2026 - An exclusive Talent Hunt competition for aspiring young talents in the Greater Chicago region. The contestants will be competing for a wide variety of music & dance items to win big prizes and the prestigious Kalakshetra Kalaprathibha, Kalathilakam and Rising Star titles.

Date & Time: Friday, April 24th from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday, April 25th, 8AM to 7PM 

Venue: St Thomas Syro Malabar Cathedral Auditorium in Bellwood IL ( 5000 St Charles Rd, Bellwood, IL 60104)

Here are the programs that will be conducted on Friday, April 24th from 6pm

• Spelling Bee

• Elocution (English and Malayalam)

• Instrumental Music

• Fancy Dress

• Mono Act

• Folk Dance (Individual and Group)

All other programs will be conducted on Saturday, April 25th

Registration Fees: 

• Registration fee for each participant in an individual contest is $20.00

• Registration fee for each participant in a group contest is $15.00

Please note that walk-ins are not accepted for Kalolsavam and the contestants must be registered before they can participate
